::: If There Is A God, Where Is He? :::

We are the 21st Century God’s playthings
He amuses Himself by pitting
One against the other
Determining which concept of Him is worthy.

Where is this God of ours who delights
In the deaths of young men and women
Spurred on to expend ammunition in His name
Maiming those who have a different concept of
Whose side God is on.

Why does this invisible God hide from the funerals
Of young people sacrificed in His name, and the
Glory of politicians.
God is merciful only to those who accept
The pity of strangers.

If there is a God, come out wherever You are
Do not provide hope through the blather of preachers.
