::: Sarah :::

You’ve changed, woman
That you once were; a golden
Girl of curiosity. Eyeing me.

When we met atop
The hill, kissing and yet kissing again—
we were sweet soul sisters you and I.

My crimson-cropped cutie,
Singing your sweet Siren mimic;
(syncopated beats—staccato clack—lull).

My friend oh how you’ve altered.
Metamorphosized caterpillar,
Xylena exsoleta ,
beloved memory.

Scarlet-glow aura lost,
An ocean of time tsunamizes.
crashing water ‘whelmed us.

Blood dyed nostalgic-trip;
An acid dream realized, enfleshed;

my friend forgotten
