::: Ogre-ate :::

I struggle with the concept of living and existence
the truth is the proof lies down the path of persistence
holding out so one day I can give something back to this resistance
for instance, I hate your best friend but I love the color of your eyes
maybe we compromise, throw three sheets at the wind and see how it flies
I’m just a deckhand on this captainless vessel we call life
and if it wasn’t for these (seas) I’d probably make it through the night
(calling all calloused crusaders, use caution carrying currency through craters,
the crew claims crazy connotations)
this is me... kicking feet treading water, keeping me from pending slaughter
aspiring to be the last righteous martyr
like prometheus I bring the heat but swear to god I didn’t start this fire
it’ll always burn, got plans to succeed but no plan to return
pass the torch, commit arson around your town
stand up to this resistance them tell em all to sit the f*ck down.
