::: generation z part III :::

love in a time of war
disaster is like the tortoise and you, the hare, so far away for so long that you forget the race is on. When the tortoise appears having already passed the finish line, the pain arrives faster than the realization. The hare can concede defeat, drink an exceptional amount of fermented carrot juice, or go on a ragingly beautiful tortoise safari.

love works in mysterious waves, you crazy rabbit, and you can only pretend to control who or what you love, but the truth is, your always changing, like clouds in the wind, and cars in the rain, your a thousand different people that all look the same; driving in your dream world, looking at others through your dream eyes, changing your mind a thousand times and yet still cant decide on which disguise will strikingly unsettle the rabbit you see in the mirror, but to others it's all too clear, you take it all for granted, and granted you race the race as a rabbit should, have you ever considered much what a rabbit could?

any rabbit need not sniff hard to detect the smell of war, because the war casts an odious shadow that cuts right through the world. worse than a radioactive aftershock, the morbid glare of war beams through minds and unleashes fear so crippling as to paralyze all victims into compliance. The legion of tortoise appear from the darkness draped in flags of death and slowly move, drumming the beat of terror, the terror that makes rabbits tremble and shudder in cold demise.

Relax in the knowledge that rabbits, when they aren't distracted with themselves and their environment, were designed to easily outrun the tortoise. But remember its only natural that heated momentum dissolves into diverged paths, and the wrong end of the rabbit hole may contain perils beyond the scale of the tortoise.
to each their own carrot...
