Jason Sims
Born February. 6, 1980
I began writing at the age of 10, it became my therapy to escape or just express myself.
I lived a harsh child hood, I kept many things to myself, maybe because I just didn't how to talk about it so I put everything in writing.
I was heavily influenced by music and the stories I heard thru music.
Just like many songwriters and even rappers, writing poetry became my way to talk to the world, sometimes just for me.
My style of writing has a rhythm to it seeing that I was influenced by different types of music including hip-hop.
Today I’m 28 years old and still have a lot to say, every day that goes by is a new experience.

::: My Thanksgiving :::

I want to thank you hustlers, gangsters and thugs/ them boys in the streets who’s poppin’ them slugs. If I speak a little crazy its not my fault/ I was born with drugs in my umbilical cord.
I want to thank my mother for showing me the wrong way/ I lived the best of both worlds but I chose my own way. I want to thank my brother for bringing out the best/my wife and kids for taking care of the rest.
Every single one of you who underestimated/ I know deep inside you wish I never made it.
All that negativity made me a better fighter/ you get burn with flames while I walk through the fire. I want to thank the one upstairs for taking me back/I don’t think I’m worth it but ill let him decide that.
