::: Talking to the Dead :::

I nominate you for beauty of the year
Words spoken softly whispered in her ear
Not a reaction or a flinch
My neck felt lynched
When she made no movement not even an inch

“I love you” I screamed
Your heart so supreme
Your everything I dream
the water to my stream
I played with razors the night that you left me
Felt so unstable my body felt empty
Its not a need, not a lust
You gave me your trust
And to your disgust
I stepped on it like dust

And all through the chat you lay still on the mat
Cause your heart rate fell flat
And I knew that was that.
