::: Forever Heather :::

Her eyes were lovely her hair was brown
She asked if I could stay around
She needed someone to understand
She needed someone to hold her hand

Her arms were bleeding she cuts so deep
I held her till she fell asleep
The kindest thing to touch my heart
She calls my name and I fall apart

Her father left her step-dad too
My little miss pretty has nothing to lose
In her room she sits and cries
And makes herself smile with happy lies

Her mother repeats, “Sweetie I’m always there”
But my girl is broken that she doesn’t seem to care
Before she died she grabbed my face
Kissed me, smiled, and said, “It’s too late”
Her eyes were lovely her hair was brown
She sleeps forever not a single sound.
