Audrey De Leon

Well, I'm sure that we can all agree that we are all here to display our creative endeavors. I so happen to have a passion to write, to explore the conscious, to embrace emotion, and to dictate it to the world through the power of the written word. I dont want to seem presumptuous, but I'm here to write and be faithful to the "idea" at which might be at your expense, so please, read with caution and discretion. My name is Audrey De Leon and I was born in Los Angeles, California in 1988. Acutely, I was raised in Sun Valley/Burbank which are small neighboring cities within the Postal of Los Angeles. I'm an amateur/freelance writer searching for any opportunity to expand and nurture this self proclaimed talent. Nineteen years in this world just seem to not justify any claim nor remark, so I will patiently wait to enrich and evidently prove this theory that I can be successful through writting. I must say that I dont define "success" by the modern day standard. My success is accomplished through the ponder of an audience, or through the enlightment of one. I have a very supportive family, an amazing group of friends, and a wide spread of acquaintances that feed the fury in my passion every single day. I plan to one day be able to explore and conquer the world and bring it alive to those around me through ink and paper.

::: Write with Pencil :::

So my current writing has been inspired by the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, the song Brighter than Sunshine by Aqualung, and The Eraser by Thom Yorke.

What if we really had the ability to just write our lives with a pencil and just turn the pencil over and erase all those moments where you've had to say to yourself..."sh*t!!!" Life would just lose it's taste, be it bitter or sweet. Well I don’t want to advocate any life lessons in a orthodoxy matter. It seems to bore the imagination, so let me approach this matter in a more abstract and artistic way. =) I mean, we are extraordinary machines.

Sweet to the mouth bitter to the mind and tasteless to the heart was her beastly approach to he who fed her with his palm that resonated with infinite roads to the soul. She starred far along those roads and walked the line with her chin close to her chest waiting for the second the road reached a crossroad or, better yet, a shortcut. She walked the road and left imprinted footmarks that the wind learned to erase. When she looked back, she'd find herself lost and keep walking the distance that nobody led except the thoughts in her mind that loathed density but urged for mass. Lets not look, lets see. Lets not see, Lets visualize. As the capital to her anatomy seemed to be far from her heart yet close to the chest, she looked back several times and felt an achievement by gazing straight forth at the nonentity which stood in front of her. She failed to turn to her left where the moon admired her grace and to her right where the sun was subtly amused by the fire in her fury. The earth is her nurturer and the rain her perpetual baptism. Woman, embrace the ache in your feet, this is your odyssey. Woman, this is your mind's never ending intake of the world, and the imperfect perfections of your cardinal sanctuary. Love is her un-motivating motive and Living is her unreasonable reason. Sanity saves her from the echoing sounds of consciousness as she quietly sits on a rock that lays on top of a mountain where she calls out to all those that gaze at the sun and hide from the moon with her grace and her fury.
