::: Requiem for a Sloth :::

Heart attacks and other tasks
Courage Colonel Custer would ask
A wounded vein, a false regret
A secret not told yet

I hear death lasts for eternity
And life is made to be spent in misery
And that God is sexist
And doesn't exist

The retarded fervor of dreams
Give cringed souls a theme
Like the grass that covers all
Beneath streetlamps and mans' law

So drink and drug like Dionysus
Get through yet another crisis
Think of soft hands, foreheads and moans
And other nights spent alone
