::: Through The Shattered Glass :::

“I am real!” said Alice, and began to cry.
The Queen: It’s a poor sort of memory
that only works backwards.’
Through the Looking Glass, Lewis Carroll

It wasn’t the yellow evening
Or the fog beneath the window panes
Septembering an age of innocence
or the sunset.

It wasn’t them bleeding her insides,
Producing leaks of ungodly stigmatism.

The leftovers of an inside that bled externally and illusions
carried hopes in a future that was more faint than fabled.
