They asked me to write
Been thinking about it
A lot’s been on my mind for a long while
A Green Mile
It seems as though the longer the clouds stay
The shorter a mid summers day
So I stay indoors
Keep thoughts to myself
Plans on the shelf
Waiting for time
Whenever that comes
Till then
I’ll be inside....
