::: Expiration Dates :::

Strike the notes with a hammer
Bend the rules to cater to your conscience
Follow the others
Vanity Fair is the New York Times
The damage is done and the sleight is over

Forgery is fraud
Money made me think twice
So papers cost more than ink
The cream has been skimmed
And the milk pails are kosher

History says otherwise
Trading cards appreciate
But people just cannonball
Smooth as butter but everything comes with expiration dates
It is ruined

Finally the fallacies coincide
Making sense makes no sense anymore
Mumbled words are force
Presidents don’t write their own speeches
They pay people for that
