Being an American means fueling up my German car with Iraqi oil, driving to an Indian casino with an Irish pub to drink imported Belgian beer, and buy an African diamond from a Jewish jeweler.

Then leaving to grab an Italian pizza slice on the way back to my Spanish townhouse with Mexican gardeners.

Where I’ll wipe my feet on an Oriental rug and sit on a Dutch sofa with my French girlfriend to watch British comedies on a Japanese TV.
