::: Look again... :::

When I walk down the street I'm stared at by people...they never say a word.
It would seem I'm looked upon as a wolf amongst the sheep herd.

Is it just disgust? Or is it more like fear?
Fear that someone like me could actually live around here.

What's that Hispanic man doing in this vicinity?
Maybe he's a cook, delivery boy, or is visiting a parole facility.

He must be up to no good...for that there is no doubt.
Why else would he be here...free to walk about?

The only thing you're seeing is the color of my skin.
You cannot see if I lie, if I steal, if I sin.

All you have is assumption based on one minuscule fact.
Now, is that really the way a grown person should act?

Skipping the part where I question your education...
I'll just ask if you have any morals, respect, or consideration.

One should look passed the differences in people.
We ought to embrace diversity and consider all equal.
