::: A Pennies Worth :::

At the end of the sidewalk ill sit,
The concrete my bed and the skies my ceiling
Giving a quick glace from your eyes
And continue passing me by
No asking how or why I’m feeling
Cold, this world is a door
Always left open
For our souls
There is no use in hoping
Just as I came, ill go
Had you stopped and asked
I would let you know
But as I sat
You noticed and laughed
And passed and passed
And never asked
Why at the end of the sidewalk
I sat making the concrete my bed
And the skies my ceiling
Just as I cam ill go
Had you stopped and asked
I would let you know
How or why I’m feeling…

A Pennies Worth
