::: X’s Three :::

The ticket taker is coming
To get my doesn’t matter
As I am all in order
With sounds of quick silver
John Waters in my mercury
Flamingos pink bass X’s three

My soul pinned to my cheap
Cowboy hat made in China,
Bought in Delray dreaming
Of where it’s at in my drink
On the yellow wicker cabana
Long gone sun bass X’s three

Shout your death through
The wall to that great Grand Avenue
With the songs that
Make us all cry
Yellow bass X’s three

Burning through
The dull wool bulk
Of lazy kitten sky
Where you least expect a visit
From a caring hand
Made of rain
Dropping a little love
On all the Chelsea girls
Doing the dirge for
Go-go who never stops
And listens to
The real bass of the street
X’s three

So there it is
God or bad the African
Market with a list of mud,
Blue ton trucks
And feel good New York
With all its STORRAGE DELUXE
While I whistle Dixie
To the Jessie and the Evie
Who play truly Evil beats
On the L.A. sun streets
With all the bass
X’s three
