The word on the Street is that TI may be sentenced to 15 + years in Prison for his arrested on 10/13/07 for allegedly buying several machine guns and a silencer from undercover ATF agents in Atlanta. We’ll post an update soon.

T.I. was released on a 3 million dollar bond on Friday 10/26/07. T.I. pleaded not guilty however if convicted he could face up to 30 years in federal prison. ::10:15:07::
T.I. had a court hearing with U.S. magistrate Baverman on 10/15/07. T.I. was ordered to remain in custody at least until Friday, when the judge will hold a hearing to determine if T.I. is eligible for a bond and whether there was probable cause to arrest him. Federal prosecutors are moving to keep Harris detained until his trial, which could be several months away. If convicted, T.I may remain in a Federal prison for five or more years according to the sentencing guidelines.

TI is in Jail!
Rapper T.I. was arrested on 10/13/07 for allegedly trying to pick up several machine guns and a silencer from undercover ATF agents, the purchase was arranged by his bodyguard. T.I was arrested shortly before the taping of BET hip-hop awards on Saturday that will air on BET on October 17 th . T.I. has a role in the upcoming movie American Gangsters set to release in theaters November 2 nd .

T.I. is one of the few rappers that I respect but this was his mistake. Machine guns with silencers? Are you kidding me? If he did purchase them then he deserves to chill in jail and think about what he just tried to do. If this is truly a set up, then I hope that justice will prevail.
Is anyone else nervous about how easy a person can pick up machine guns?

This goes to show that young rich African Americans are being target by our own government. One point that we must keep in line, is that guns are killing over a thousand blacks and Latin's a month. What is ATF doing about that? Blacks do not make guns. If TI was not able to afford one the ATF, might have given it to him for free! Just something to think about.
