::: Elevated Elevator :::

What’s the deal with elevators.. How come no one talks in elevator. People don’t even look at each other. There is an obvious uncomfortable feeling upon those who enter and ride the square beast. I have studied them for years and have found out some interesting facts. Have you ever noticed when you are alone in one, it’s like your own personal reality/ variety show. Anything goes. You will say and do mostly anything because of the momentary free space that is yours and yours alone, with no one to see you... It’s your own personal invisibility chamber... I really feel sorry for those who ride the glass elevators and forget. Have you ever noticed how truly bummed out people get when they miss the elevator... Get This... These people who just spent way too much time talking to coworkers during their lunch break, who, and you didn’t here this from me, talked way to much crud about all day long because they don’t know what the heck they are doing, now are rushing back to work, saw from about 10 yards away that people are cramming into an elevator, and with there low fat blueberry muffins, and there Venti, non fat, mocha lattes, and cell phone in ear, will run for their lives to get into that elevator… Like the ding of the elevator triggered something in their psyche. And what kills me is the obvious conspiracy that has taken over, and overcome their lives. They kick the air, grunt, look to heaven and do a full 360’ all in one motion. Totally pissed off and dismayed, because you know that this particular elevator probably wont come back up today. On another note, I love getting into a crowded elevator, and as soon as the doors shut, pronounce in a semi scary and psycho voice, “Now I have you all trapped.” Then I start singing any Barry Manilow song, really loud... Just cuz.
