::: Talib Kweli - Eardrum :::

No preservatives needed for Talib Kweli, he's fresh every time. Let's just say Eardrum is another first-class album for Talib; tracks featuring Kanye West, Musiq Soulchild, KRS-ONE, Justin Timberlake, UGK, Lyfe Jennings, and a host of other artists. Eardrum has seventeen tracks along with three bonus tracks totaling twenty tracks. There is something for all "hip-hop heads" on this album.

Onward with the review, track two "NY Weather Report". A part of living life is all about the journey, life isn't easy. Talib breaks down how he is prepared for the rain, hail, sleet and snow; but not literally for course. In life and in music we all face storms in our lives, and Talib Kweli shows us how to ride it out! Track five "Country Cousins featuring UGK" is a beautiful blend of New York and Texas artists coming together to make a great track. I'm feelin' the hip-hop unity across all coasts; since the untimely deaths of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G rap artists have made an effort to embrace regional differences. Track ten "Give 'Em Hell featuring Coi Mattison and Lyfe Jennings" Talib tells a story about how he feels about Religion. He can't see the difference between Baptist, Catholic, or any other religion. Talib poses the question "Who was King James, and why did he think that it was so vital to remove chapters and make his own version of the Bible"? Go BUY the Talib Kweli Eardrum album; don't burn.
