Troy Donald Jamerson aka Pharoahe Monch is the self proclaimed "Poetical Pastor". Pharoahe Monch defiantly has a rap style that sets him apart from other lyricists. Pharoahe Monch has never had a platinum album, although he has been in the music business since 1991, although having platinum albums is not the measure of success. Desire is defiantly a soulful album however if you purchase the album you may find yourself choking on the lyrical content, it's hard to digest in one sitting. Make sure you listen to song eleven "Hold On featuring Erykah Badu", soothing vocals from Erykah Badu and ill lyrics from Pharoahe Monch. Go ahead and buy the CD if you can dedicate an eight-hour workday to let it soak in.
