::: Lil' Mo - Pain and Paper :::
Cynthia K. Loving aka Lil' Mo starts off with a beautiful A capella , her smooth, strong voice really shines on her new album "Pain and Paper". This is the first album since the self proclaimed "Godmother of Hip-Hop and R&B" started her own label HoneyChild Inc. "Officially Hollywood feat. Katt Williams". Wait a minute, Katt Williams the comedian rappin'? Yeah that's right Katt Williams can rap, he has a nice flow, "Officially Hollywood" has a nice beat, good bass, good verse by Katt Williams, great sample, excellent vocals from Lil' Mo. Song three "Sometimes I featuring Jim Jones", starts with Jim Jones setting the story in motion, rappin' about being in a love triangle. Lil' Mo sings about having two men in her life; one man that doesn't treat her right and another that knows her needs like the back of his hand. "Broken Heart" just about anyone can relate to this song; Lil' Mo let us feel the pain, and then adds a surgeons touch to help us mend our broken hearts.
Rules and Reasons for song number nine "Youngin' featuring Da Brat":
Rule: Ladies don't be ashamed; it's fine to have a man that is five or more years younger than you!
Reason: Now we can all sit down together and have a good laugh listening to "Youngin'". We all know someone that is "robbing the cradle"
Rule: R Kelly, do not listen to this song when you are in the mood.
Reason: You are a talented musician, but it's not ok for you to socialize with the youngsters.
"Sometimes I featuring Fabolous" The dynamic duo is back from the numerous singles they have had together. "Sometime I" lacks punch from Fabolous, but I'll leave that off the record, opps!
