::: Keyshia Cole - Just Like You :::

All I need to know is, Who the hell broke Keyshia's heart (Yung Jeezy or some other nig*ga maybe)?! This album may just as well be titled "To That Nig*ga" because every song is about heartbreak in relationships. The album opens with "Let it go feat. Missy and Lil' Kim" which is currently in serious radio rotation. The hurt just gets more and more apparent as the album progresses. "Falling out" is one of my favorites because every woman including myself has experienced some level of this when their relationship is on the rocks. "I Remember" is also a favorite song the album. You can hear the heartbreak in her voice. This ultimate breakup song that encompasses every emotion a woman goes through when the relationship finally ends. I must say that "Heaven Sent" brought damn tears to my eyes (and if this doesn't do the same for the other ladies that have this album they must have a heart of stone or they're dudes). This song talks about how in each relationship you hope or want to believe that it's "the one". She sums it up in her chorus "I wanna' be the one you believe in your heart is sent from heaven". How beautiful is that? "Losing you featuring Anthony Hamilton" seems to be the only song in which she makes the final and last desperate attempt to try to salvage her failing relationship. Anthony sure could have had more than a 3 line verse but hey, it's a cute song nonetheless. Just to ensure that her record is a hit, "Last Night feat. P. Diddy" is also on the album, which just adds to her already stellar compilation. All in all this CD is totally worth the buy, it's therapy for the ladies that have experienced heartbreak and hopefully gives a little clarity for the nig*gas that caused it.
