::: Cassidy - B.A.R.S The Barry Adrian Reese Story :::

For those that don't know Cassidy aka Barry Adrian Reese was involved in a serious car accident back in October of 2006 in New Jersey on his way to a studio session in New York. Cassidy was a passenger in an SUV when a large moving truck swerved into traffic and struck the black SUV on Cassidy's side of the vehicle. Cassidy was critically injured; he was rushed to the hospital suffering from skull fractures. Cassidy was released from the hospital later in the year. Cassidy suffered some temporary brain damage as a result of the accident. He didn't remember some of his Hit songs such as "I'm a Hustler" and "Hotel".

Now that you have some background, let's get on with the B.A.R.S The Barry Adrian Reese Story Album Review. The leading track on the album is "My Drink n' My 2 Step featuring Swiss Beatz", it's been is rotation on BET, VH1, and MTV. Although this is a so-called Hit song it's not the strongest song on the album, even though "My Drink n' My 2 Step" is a club banger. One of the strongest tracks on the album is "Cash Rulez" although it's not a classic. Cassidy changed up the flow a lil bit, he went ahead and sped up his flow to match Bone Thugs and Eve. It would have been nice if Cassidy had a couple more bars on the track. Another strong track "Leanin' on the Lord featuring Angie Stone", Cassidy shows that he is very thankful for beating his court case and living through his tragic accident.

Go ahead and jump in the whip or hop a Jet with ya lady to South Beach, Las Vegas, or wherever your favorite spot is. Now that you're on ya way skip over to track twelve and listen to " Take A Trip featuring Mashonda". Just gotta' get away sometimes ya know, Cassidy breaks it down short and sweet.

Overall I'll go out on the limb and say Cassidy put out a good album, although sales of the B.A.R.S The Barry Adrian Reese Story album are not li kely to reach Platinum Status.
